I really do not know what else to say. My field trip blogs are beginning to repeat themselves a lot. I see and do the same things every week. (And yes Mr. Abrams he does have a daughter named Carly). But pretty much that is all I learned recently. I have seen more injections, another knee draining and a lot of x-rays. Lastly, there is another new medical student that is shadowing Dr. Wetzler. Since I have been there this is the 5Th student, but this time it is a girl. I like her a lot. She talks to me and explains things to me. She is really cool and extremely friendly and I enjoy working with her.

Train yourself to not to look at the visits as the same-old-same-old. Rather, look for something new and refreshing in every visit. After seeing a procedure, ask yourself a question that you never considered before. Let's look at the injection thing...
ReplyDeleteWhen were the first needle injections given? Who perfected the technology?
What exactly is done with the used needles?
Are there instances when ordinary injections went bad, actually causing grave injuries.
Or try this. Since you see different students all the time, ask them questions. For example, what compelled them to get into medicine in the first place? Do they have misgivings?
