Field Trip #10

Every trip gets better and better. Every visit I get more comfortable and more interactive. I saw the same things that I see every week but it doesn't get boring. I am beginning to become familiar with patients now and see their progress. I am also more verbal and I try to help as much as possible. I really do enjoy going to my sponsor every week. I like the people there especially Dr. Wetzler and the most recent student he had. She was so nice to me and talked to me the whole time. She not only talked about medical stuff but also about her life. It made me realize that doctors have lives too just like teachers. when I see teachers outside of school I am always shocked but then I say to myself, "Teachers are real people with real lives too." She told me about so many useful things that will help me through college and medical school. Aside from that, I told Dr. Wetzler about the bone fun facts for my project and he sounded pretty excited about it. Like always I cannot wait for the next visit.
