My choice #15

Prom is Friday. YAY! I am so excited but also not. This past week starting Tuesday June 1st until Friday June 4Th has been so busy. Tuesday I had to tutor and I had to be the award girl at the video award show for Mr. Flick. Wednesday, Today, I am at the middle school talking to the middle school students about college. Then after this I need to go get my nails, toes, and eyebrows done and go tanning. Then tonight I need to pack for Wildwood this weekend. Tomorrow, Thursday, I have to go to my sponsor then at night time I have a scholarship interview at Sterling High School. Lastly, Friday. Enough said. Friday is prom. That day is going to be insane. I have so much to do before going to prom. I need my hair and makeup done, need to pick up my date, take pictures at my house, go to my friend's house, go to promenade, then finally go to prom. Then after prom I have to pick up my boyfriend and drive all the way down to Wildwood. After this week is over I cannot wait. Every school event is one event closer to graduation. I waited for senior trip, now that is over i am waiting for prom and then as soon as that is over graduation is next and last! I cannot wait!

Connection #14

This week I really worked on my project as a whole. I have been working on changing everything little by little. I edited my brochure, added to my bone facts, and practiced my virtual surgery. Every week I do little by little and it is starting to come together. My next visit to my sponsor I hope to learn how to put on a cast so that I am ready for my presentation.

Field trip #14

Field trip #14 was fun like always. This trip I got to see a lot of injections. Going to see my sponsor never gets boring. My blogs do not even come close to the experience I am having. My blogs are boring and say the same thing over and over again but my experience is amazing. I cannot really put what happens at my sponsor into words because it is that good and just so much stuff happens. I cannot wait to go this Thursday.

My Choice #14 continued

Lion's Choice last night was fun. There was a lot of familiar students and teachers there. Last night did make me nervous though. Every student was being called except for me. All of the teachers made their speeches and presented their awards and there were no teachers left. I though that I was chosen as a joke. Jordan West and I were joking around the whole time saying that I only got picked as a joke and I was just there for fun. Finally after all the teachers and Sellers went, Mrs. Woodward stood up. She went on stage and called my name. I was her Lion's Choice. I have known her since before high school and I had no idea she picked me. It was a complete surprise. Last night was a lot of fun and I am thankful that I got chosen.

My Choice #14

Tonight at 6:30pm is the Lion's Choice awards. I am excited because this is my first time receiving a Lion's Choice award. The invitation only said the date and time so therefore I do not know who picked me and why they did choose me. Tomorrow I will create another blog updating who picked me, why they picked me, how everything went and how I felt.

My Choice #13

Senior project overall is a good class. As much as I complain and argue with Mr. Abrams I do actually like this class. To have a class to be able to learn about what I want to learn about is a good opportunity. Not all students have the same opportunity as my classmates and I to take this class. So therefore I am grateful to have this class. I like leaving to go to visit my sponsor. I really like Dr. Wetzler and his office employees. I hope that after senior project I can still go to visit him and keep in touch with him. I would recommend this class to everyone but I do not think that everyone could handle this class. It is a lot more hard work then people expect. When I took this class I thought it was going to be a piece of cake and I would not have to do anything but I was completely wrong. I think this is the most work I have ever done in an English class since I have been in high school. I would also only recommend that a future student only pick a topic they are really interested in, do not just pick a topic just because. If that occurs then the student will be stuck for about 6 months working on a project that hate it and will feel so much longer then it really is.

Field Trip #13 & Connection #13

I did not get a chance to see my sponsor this week. Yesterday, Thursday, when I would normally go to see my sponsor I had a field trip. I normally leave school at 1 and stay until 3 but since I was on a field trip we did not get back until 215 and by the time I got to my locker, to my car, and to my sponsor I would not have any time. Therefore I did not go to my sponsor. The trip I did go on somewhat related to senior project so that is a plus. We went to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. It showed a great way of presentation. The gardens were so pretty and the way the flowers were planted made it look so nice. This place made me realize that presentation is everything. The way things are placed really does matter. I think if the garden was not in order and flowers and trees were everywhere it would not have looked as nice. But everything had its place and everything was perfected placed together.
